![]() ![]() ![]() Leaving a review when you don't understand the purpose of the app you are reviewing is just rude. Now they are upset that the wrench isn't a hammer? Grow up and go find the proper tool! Don't berate something just because it isn't what you need? This app does a great job doing what it does. These complainers seem to be looking for a hammer, but found a wrench. If I needed to make big changes, I would use another tool! If you want to edit the json source, why not just install Anaconda and use Jupyter Notebook or Jupyter Lab directly? I can see the benefit of a crude editor for fixing typos and the like, which is what this is. I cannot speak to the second use case, which is what all the negative reviews seem to be complaining about. My strategy was to render final notebooks to pdf, for scanning. It imports the modern DICOM files, raw data files and legacy DICOM files without issue. AMIDE DICOM viewer has advanced enterprise-grade viewing features with measurement and manipulation tools. I have used Amide for years on Linux, It has an amazing performance on almost all platforms including mac OSX/ Windows, all are in true Libre/ open source packed. Before buying this tool, my quick viewer showed the raw json source, which was less than helpful. AMIDE is an open source DICOM viewer that works for MacOSX/ Windows and Linux. As a data scientist who does almost everything in Jupyter notebooks, I wanted a quick viewer so that I could scan the rendered contents of a notebook in the file system. This thing covers two use cases - (1) *.ipynb viewer and (2) rough editor. ![]()
